Winter Animals Week!

Even though we haven't had a big snow yet, we pretended we lived near the snow and ice and enjoyed our polar animals theme.  These kiddos are hoping for snow soon!

Each day, a new friend is our student of the day

V is for vegetables

Another cute student of the day

Using marshmallows and toothpicks to create animal homes

Putting our hand in icy waters with blubber was no problem!  Without it....brrrrrr!

We love writing now that we have confidence and can write so many sight words!

Cute penguins made indpendently

Nice work buddy!  Matching letters all on his own!

So many writers! And so fun to watch develop as a teacher! :)

We love building with different materials in class

Puzzle partner day!

More wintery homes built for our animals

We look at our new student of the day and draw him/her together.  We talk about their name, count the letters and syllables and cheer out their name.  So fun!

We huddled together like a group of penguins do to stay warm. Our outside friends had to rotate in to get warm.
