Polar Express and Baby Jesus Week

We had such a fun last two weeks of school.  We enjoyed reading the Polar Express and doing various train activities all week including riding our own version of the express.  We looked adorable in our pajamas eating candy canes and drinking hot cocoa while we steamed through the pretend mountains.  On our last week of school we celebrated the true meaning of Christmas learning about Jesus' birth and the greatest gift of Christmas.  We ended our week with our party.  Thank you to all the parents that were able to help with this fun day!

We used pattern blocks to make trains.
We made our last names into a train.
We even graphed how many pattern blocks we used to make the train.
Of course we had to play with the trains and tracks this week! :)

Trees and Gingerbread Week

We had a great week kicking off our Christmas themes with Christmas trees, lights and gingerbread.  We got to decorate our class tree, make seveal crafts and have our special guests in for pottery day.  It was a fun week!
