Zoo Week!

We had a blast talking about our favorite animals at the zoo!

Our student of the day loves sharing their special things from home!

Making animal cages with popsicle sticks and play-doh. :)

Mrs. Rose let us be apart of her science experiment where we made elephant toothpaste!

Apple Week

Apple week is always one of our favorites in preschool!  There were so many fun crafts to make and of course yummy apple treats to taste!

This was such a fun stem activity!  They stacked "limbs" and "apples" to make apple trees having to use estimation and balance to accomplish a filled tree. So fun!

They loved listening to the old story of "The Little Red House."  A boy goes through the woods looking for the little red house with no doors, no window and a star inside.  He ends the story in an apple orchard where he solves the clues!  The kids love the surprise of the star inside!

Taste testing red, green and yellow.  We described each apple and graphed our results.

C Week objects from home!

We did a little science experiment this week to see what would happen to apple pieces in water, lemon juice, corn syrup, coke and vinegar. We loved predicting what would happen to the apples and seeing the results.

We made apple pies in class.  We crushed our own graham crackers, added apple filling and cool whip.  Yummy!
