Halloween week

We had so much fun with our not so spooky theme, Halloween.  Here are some pictures from the week. :)

Painting candy corn with little cotton balls dipped in paint. This was a great fine motor activity too!

Reaching in the box, pulling out little spiders and recording the color we found.

Happy birthday friend!
Minds in motion time

Thanks to Clare's dad for pouring the concrete for our new basketball goal!  They loved this!!

Sharing our decorated pumpkins from home

We used candy corn pieces to fill out a ten's frame

Looking so cute in our dressy clothes on picture day. :)
Silly faces!

Partner puzzle time

Letter O objects

Boo!
Turtle power!

Math activities...counting and adding together spots on a spider and rolling and counting dice on friendly ghosts.

Writing a sentence about what we dressed as for Halloween.  We worked together to stretch out the sounds and wrote our costume name by ourselves. Wow!

We took turns rolling a ball of yarn to a friend to make a giant spider web.

Lifting and trying to keep the spider from falling off the web
Trick or treating in our class and next door at Edward Jones
