Easter Week!

What a fun week we had celebrating Easter here at preschool.  We loved the eggs, Easter bunny and candy but we know the real meaning of Easter and hold it close to our hearts.  :)
Our student of the day shares his special things.

Cute little bunnies with our handprints

We can read all of our color words independently-so smart!

Mrs. Tracy picked up a new dollhouse and we are loving it!

Putting numbered eggs together 11-20. Wow!

Step by step, we drew our adorable bunnies.

Another sweet student of the day with her favorites!

We are working hard on rhyming words at carpet time which can be a tricky concept in preschool.  We are listening to see if the words rhyme, and also trying to give another word that would make the list.

Easter stickers and fun foam are always fun!

We water colored all over our paper and when we pulled off the tape we saw a cross!  So cool!

Look at us put sentences together by reading and touching each word.  Wowzers I'm impressed with these smart kinder prep friends!

Getting your foot painted tickles quite a bit!  ha!!!!

Loved all the Easter eggs decorated at home!  Thanks families for helping!

Shaking our secret eggs and predicting what's inside

They loved this song...."All the little bunnies fast asleep..."  Then the bunnies get up and hop, hop, hop. Cute!

Our student of the day for Wednesday

We even painted eggs with shaving cream, glue and paint.

We loved learning the Easter story with Resurrection eggs.  Each day we read about 4 eggs and opened the egg to see a surprise.  The 12 days told the Easter story leading up to Jesus dying on the cross. Our 12th egg was empty!  Why? Because Jesus had risen!! Happy Easter LAP Families!

Finally, a surprise visit from the Easter bunny!  He left the room a mess and eggs with treats. :)
