Ending 2009 with Christmas Fun

We had so much fun together our last week before break. We were very busy making crafts and projects to share with our families for Christmas. We had tons of fun making everything and we hope you enjoyed seeing our special work. Have a very Merry Christmas and I will see you very soon!

We love to build big towers...the bigger the better!

Puzzles are more fun to do with a friend helping

Look at all of these smarties working together to do a dinosaur floor puzzle-what great team work!
Best friends
Everyone looked so cute in their pajamas!

A little dancing to get our bodies moving
Everyone designed their own birthday cake for Jesus. Jesus got everything from "Buzz Lightyear to very colorful cakes." :)
Santa stopped by and left us all presents. We love to read and The Snowy Day is one of our favorites!

Christmas Fun

We had so much fun this week making many Christmas crafts, singing and reading about Christmas, and playing with our friends. Everyone is definitely ready for Christmas to be here!

Look at those cuties!

Working side by side with good friends

We work hard on writing our names and learning to write our letters.

Constructing a long train track is a favorite each day.

We love to use our handprints to make art.

We look forward to seeing our friends each day.

There are so many good books to choose from at preschool.

We are learning to work together to get a job done.

Snack time is always a favorite activity of the day. Yum!

Our teacher reads us exciting stories and we love to predict what will happen next.

It's great to be back!

What a wonderful group of children we have in our class! It is great to be back. I have missed everyone! This week we kicked off the Christmas season with our theme trees and lights. We had fun painting trees, stamping trees, and assembling trees out of decorative paper. Since it was chilly this week, we spent sometime indoors getting out our wiggles with music and dance. The kids had a blast with a "listen and move" song, a follow the leader song, and "the bear hunt." It is also so amazing to announce that our preschool raised over $600 for Christmas presents for Romanian children! What an awesome thing to teach our kids about giving to others. Thank you for helping with this project! WOW!!
