Eric Carle Week!

We had a great week studying our favorite preschool author, Eric Carle!  We LOVE his books for their stories and the colorful pictures.

We hole punched our own leaf for the caterpillars to eat through...this was a great fine motor activity to help get those fingers strong!

In the sensory bin this week, our hungry caterpillars ate food! ha!

Some of our favorite books of the week!

Our grouchy faces to go with The Grouchy Ladybug!  Some really struggled to even look grouchy. ha!

Go team!!

flowers, firetruck, friend and food!

Y-E-L-L-O-W spells yellow!  We are learning to spell and read our color words with songs.  On You tube just type "yellow color song" or red or blue to hear what we've been singing.

This name tags came home yesterday.  Hopefully this will help them learn how to write their names like big kindergarteners.  Letters always start at the top (I added black dots for where to start).
