Valentine's Day and President's Week

Love was in the air this week in preschool.  We loved celebrating Valentine's Day all week and had so much fun at the party.  A big thank you to all of the families that sent in supplies and helped with the party.

Big readers during carpet time!

We measured with candy hearts.  We first predicted the height, then tested it. :)

Minds in Motion fun!

After reading a sight word book that said two things the author liked, we made our own sentence using the words "like" and "and."  SO smart!

We sorted our conversation hearts, counted and graphed our results.  We love when math is yummy!

SO many math concepts involved here-we rolled two dice, had to recognize the numbers, add, then find the numbers.  This was a challenging one but something they had fun trying. :)

Valentine party fun!!

Our "W" objects

We talked about presidents on Wednesday.  We learned that some presidents have their faces on coins and learned the value of those coins with a song.  I learned many of our friends want their own face on a coin someday. :)

Painting our flag.

We flipped a penny 20 times and graphed our heads and tail count.

We have big dreams to be the president one day! :)
