Apples!

We had two weeks of apple fun in Pre-K! There were so many fun things to do with apples it was hard to choose which pictures to put on here! We made many colorful crafts, taste tested, graphed, stamped with apples, and even discovered a star inside our apples. What a fun theme!

Sequencing the cycle of an apple

Reading about apples

We LOVED the story about the little red house with no doors or windows and a star inside! We didn't know that when you cut an apple horizontally, a star appears!

We used our bodies to go through the apple cycle. We started as seeds then grew into saplings, then into trees with leaves, then apple blossoms and finally an apple tree!

We enjoyed hearing our student of the day share

We made our fingers into worms and snuck through an apple. :)

We taste tested 3 varieties of apples

Green was our favorite!

We graphed the results

More student of the day sharing

Wow! One smart boy made his snack into a letter!

We used apples to stamp

We get out white boards and practice the letters, numbers and even words we know!

On Tuesday, the Lafayette Fire Department visited us! We loved their visit!!
Gavin's daddy and Firefighter Nate teach us about fire fighter's gear

Visiting the truck

The nozzle is heavy!

Thank you Lafayette Fire Department!

Finally, we made some beautiful apples to hang in our windows at home

and celebrated a special birthday. :) What a fun week!
