We had such a fun week with our not so spooky Halloween fun with spiders, skeletons and silly monsters.
We did some Halloween yoga! This is so fun. They have several choices on Youtube under Cosmic Yoga for kids.
Cutting different sized pumpkins and putting them in order. Using scissors is tricky in preschool but good practice for kindergarten!

We used q-tips to make skeleton bodies...they looked silly with our faces on them
We made spiders independently with ink pads. We counted 8 legs for spiders.
Spider hats
Playing memory with our letters
new play-doh mats
We do addition and subtraction stories during carpet time to add and subtract from a group and work on counting with one to one correspondence.
They LOVED singing our version of who stole the cookie from the cookie jar!

Reading our poems
Now that we are learning some basic sight words we are starting to read simple sentences. We know letters and words are different. We know there are 2 finger spaces between words. We know how to touch under the word to read. We also know sentences start with a capital and end with a period. We are so smart!
Silly faces!

More yoga (no clue why these upload all out of order)
Pattern blocks are so fun!
