Thankful!!

Mrs. Traci and I are sure thankful for these awesome boys and girls!  They make coming to school fun each and everyday!  We had so much fun finishing up our Thanksgiving theme and celebrating with our own feast. :)

We shook shook shook until we had homemade butter!  It was a lot of work and took everyone's help to make it thick enough to spread.

We took turns pouring in our fruit to make our gigantic fruit salad.

Our prayer before our feast....thanking God for all of our blessings. :)

Yum!  They loved the homemade butter!  The fruit was yummy too!

One of our parents at LAP offered to come in and share a Native American dance.  It was amazing!  She is 100 percent Mohawk and Ojibwe she said.  She taught the kids all about her outfit and how they celebrate at their pow wows with a dance.  The kids were mesmerized.  We are so thankful Mrs. Amber could share this with us!

Her daughter Vivian helped too with her jingle dress.

Love the disguised turkeys hanging in our hall!  All of these special projects will be in your child's portfolio at the end of the year.
