This week we finished up our apple theme and spent a little time on weather. What perfect weather outside for these themes!
Morning table top centers
One of our chrysalis from last week hatched into a butterfly and we got to observe the other chrysalis throughout the week. So cool!
Rainbow writing our names
Practicing our numbers
We made a class book about our favorite apples to put in our library.
Mrs. Traci always helps us make adorable crafts.
This friend put these together and said, "Look I made a square."
Putting words together to make sentences.
We are able to cut and glue activities with counting involved independently. :)
We always pray together before snack. Look at this sweet class.
"T" is for....
We put together a weather book with predictable text based on the story Brown Bear, Brown Bear.
We made our own clouds based on the book It Looked Like Spilt Milk and decided what they looked like to us.
Since we made clouds with shaving cream, we practiced our letters in shaving cream on the tables. It was fun and messy!
Finally, we did our own little science experiment on clouds. Eventually, the blue food coloring came through the shaving cream into the jar showing us that when clouds get heavy and full of rain, it comes down. This was fun to wait and watch.
