Dinosaur Week

Between the roaring and stomping, we had a classroom of dinosaurs this week!  We loved reading all about the dinosaurs and learning how big they actually were. We didn't think we'd want a dinosaur to come to school with us anytime soon. :)
This group is spinning and rolling a dice to decide what color they will write their new sight word, "go" with.
The easel was very busy this week with painters.
The sensory table was a hit with dinosaurs, noodles and scoops.
Painting what would become our dinosaurs later in the week.
We added triangles to the backs of stegosaurus to make a pattern.
We love working with Mrs. Traci
Look at this big structure
Our book this week had us reading our color words to figure out what color each dinosaur should be.
What a great pattern!

One day we enjoyed partner puzzle time.  They loved working with a buddy on huge floor puzzles and I was amazed at how well they did!  Awesome job friends!!

We added our leaves to our hallway tree saying what we are thankful for.  From our mommies and daddies to Legos, we have a lot to be thankful for! :)
We cut apart sentences with sight words we've been learning to read, and put them back together.  We were so proud we could read these to our teachers and friends (and hopefully you!).
Roar!!

We also colored a dinosaur based on shape and color.  We sure are smart!  Next week our theme is turkeys! Gobble, gobble, gobble. :)
