We had a fabulous week talking about community workers! We already knew a lot about community workers because we could talk about our parent's job. :) After discussing so many community helpers and having a special visit from Dr. Jenkins, we were ready to decide what we wanted to be when we grew up. :)
We used play-doh and popsicle sticks to build houses....just like a construction worker.
Another great pop tab collection for Preston!
Using a ruler to measure pencils! Wow-so smart!
We used blocks to build structures just like a real builder.
Rulers were brought out at the art table to make some really great "ruler art" pictures.
As a team, we "built" a large paper chain. This took some good teamwork.
Dr. Jenkins, a dentist right next to our preschool visited us and taught us all about dental health. He was SO funny and the kids loved seeing him brush Bobo's teeth! Thanks Dr. Jenkins!!
Such good listeners
Using familiar shapes, we also designed our own structures
We also got to practice our brushing skills on some baby helpers in the room! Instead of just clean teeth, they got an overall good brushing. ha!
