This week our theme was "friendship" and we were so excited to have two new friends in class! We got a new student that we absolutely adore and a new insect friend. One of our students brought in a chrysalis and although we missed the transformation, we arrived at school Tuesday to find a beautiful butterfly waiting for us! What a great experience and a fun week!

Working Together
We had another wonderful week of school! We had so much fun this week learning about our families and getting to know each other even better. I had a hard time narrowing down which pictures to use this week because I kept capturing so many sweet moments of kids working together. A big part of preschool is learning to socialize, share and work together and I am thrilled to see so much of that happening each day! What a sweet group of kiddos!!
This group was setting up a little dinosaur community. :)
Concentrating hard to get it just right
You have to think it out to get the marble run to go just the way you want it.
Mrs. Traci and I get all smiles when they are working on their big kid work! :)
Sometimes even a buddy can show you how to do something.
Working together and sharing materials can be fun at school.

Our first week of preschool!
We had a fabulous first week of school playing with our new friends! We are going to have a great year!
We like to model after our families and take care of the babies in the classroom.
The dinosaurs are a fun challenge because you have to piece their bodies together.
It takes a smart boy to figure out which size snowman goes into the next one.
Our fine motor skills are sharpened when we practice cutting at the sensory table.
We surprised our teachers at how well we can already write our names and color!
