Pet Week

We had a fun week talking about our special pets at home.  We started out our week by signing our name on the side of the chart that told whether we had a pet at home.  We then counted and discussed our results.

Our favorite center of the week was the Vet shop.  We were able to pretend we were the veterinarian or the pet owner and fill out forms and prescriptions.
Our new letter this week was "F."  We learned to write it by starting at the top and saying "big line down, little line, little line."
Our handprints made for some pretty cute cats!
We love reading in our class boat.
More veterinarians at work

Morning table top centers

Woof woof!

Another happy puppy
Working on our sequencing....putting a dog in order form the least amount of spots to the most. We are also working on our cutting and gluing to get ready for kindergarten.
We water colored dogs and cats this week and stamped the letters to write the words all on our own. :)

Playing with our friends

Another math activity where we rolled dice and counted the dots and matched the number on our paper.

A room full of doggies
This was our favorite story of the week!
Sharing our objects that begin with F with our friends

Thank you for helping your child bring in objects each week and by wearing the color of the week!  They love sharing. :)

Our shape this week was a square and we made one by ourselves with popsicle sticks. So smart!

We are great about helping our friends.
Minds in motion time!

Enjoying the sunshine!
