Gardening Week!

This week it was all about gardening.  We painted beautiful flowers and put our green thumbs to the test planting grass seed (which always grows fast) and flowers. :)

We used Qtips to paint these!

Painting flowerpots

These smarties are SO good with ten frames.  Here we are guessing the missing addend for sums of 10.  So there were 6 red dots and we knew that 6 plus "something" is 10.  Since we are so good at ten frames, we recognized that 4 was the missing number. :)

We loved using rulers to measure flowers like big kids.

For our end of the year portfolios, we are seeing how much we've grown!

Author Study-Laura Numeroff Week!

One of our favorite authors in preschool is Laura Numeroff. She writes all the funny, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, If you Give a Pig a Pancake and many more!

If you give our friends a cupcake, he'll want something yummy to go with it!

Having fun with Mrs. Jaime :)

This friend brought cookies to go with our cookie book!

Counting chocolate chips and matching them with their number

Laura Numeroff stories are circle stories meaning the ending circles back to the beginning.  We used picture clues to put each story back in order.  So smart!

Rainbow Week and Easter!

We had a colorful week making rainbows to go with St. Patrick's Day.  We also enjoyed celebrating Easter on our make up day.  Check out our fun below. :)

Jesus is risen!

When we returned from the minds in motion room we discovered a big mess in our room!  There were chairs knocked over and white footprints everywhere!  Who did this!?  We were on the hunt for hidden eggs in the room.  So fun!
