Space Week!

Blast off! We had so much fun with our space theme...always a favorite in preschool!  There was so much to explore between talking about the planets, the sun, moon and more!  Our friends knew a lot about space and we were able to pick up on some really cool new facts too!
Morning table top activities

We graphed our class' response to the question "Would you go to the moon?"  We were surprised that more kids said no. ha!
We learned a song that helped us name the planets in order from the sun.  Hopefully your child sang it to you!
Last name rocket ships

We are now able to read all of our color words independently!  This colorful rocket is going in our special portfolio.
Reading, stamping and writing our sight words-so smart!

Minds in motion time!

We loved exploring the magnets in the sensory table this week
0, 9, 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 Blast off!
Can you believe we are reading?!  :)

Some of us were planets orbiting the sun while others were bright stars.

Letter V objects
Our writing center has little books and this friend illustrated her own book and dictated the words to her mommy.

We poked little holes through the letters in our last names to create our very own constellation.  We loved looking through it at the lights.

We created our own planets and named them.  Thanks for a fun space week friends!
