Pet Week!

We had such a fun week talking about our special pets at home and pets that we would like to have!

We enjoyed painting cats out of our handprints and dogs from our footprint. :)
See how we can independently stamp the word cat.  We learned that letters read from left to right to write a word.

We loved all things pet shop this week!

We pretended to be veterinarians at the pet clinic.

Our special pets at home.
We help our friends in class. :) So sweet!
Special birthday girls!
The weather this week was perfect!!!!!

Morning table top centers...working hard :)

This week our shape was a square.  We talked about the circle then moved in to make a square.

Only in preschool do you get your foot painted! ha!  Sure made for a cute puppy with those little toes. :)
Searching for those "F's"

Checking out our pet books for the week.  Look at these awesome readers!
"Look! F is for Fruit Snacks."
Fire trucks for their F object
Frogs, fish and flashlight!
More great "F" toys to share!

Working hard on sequencing....such a great skill for kindergarten
What a great fish tank friend!

Look how we touch below the word on the black dot to read!  With this repetitive text, we are in the beginning stages of becoming little readers.

What a fun week with some fabulous kiddos!  Next week is Eric Carle week-one of my favorite authors. :)
